Home Network and Wi-Fi Hardening
A home router, Wi-Fi, camera, printer, NAS, and smart-device review for families, remote workers, students, and creators.
- Change weak router admin settings and Wi-Fi configuration.
- Separate guest, IoT, work, and family use where the router supports it.
- Review exposed services, UPnP risk, camera defaults, and firmware updates.
- Document the network so future troubleshooting is less chaotic.

2

3
Document
Create a small network sheet with router access notes, device categories, and recommended future checks.
- Home-network inventory.
- Router and Wi-Fi hardening checklist.
- Smart-device risk notes.
